At Pooh Corner, it is our mission to provide comprehensive, accessible, services that meet the social, emotional, physical, educational, and spiritual needs of families as well as promote their growth and welfare in the Community.

About Us

Pooh Corner has been in operation for 50 + years. We offer childcare services and developmentally appropriate skills for children from 6 weeks of age up to their 13th birthday.
Our goal at Pooh Corner is to furnish trained, caring staff that will provide quality services, educational child care in a safe, loving environment that is accessible to all families regardless of race, special needs, and/or income.
Open Door Policy: Parents are always welcome and encouraged to visit Pooh Corner.

Non-Profit

Pooh Corner is governed by a board of directors for The Child Development Council for Adams County. Pooh Corner is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Pooh Corner Daycare & Preschool is open Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Holidays: Special provisions regarding holidays will be posted. Pooh Corner is closed on the following holidays: Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, Independence Day (July 4), New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.
Inclement Weather: When inclement weather creates questions about Pooh Corner closing, please watch or listen to one of the stations listed below.
